We’re a creating a Monumental Obelisk Forest filled with obelisks of all sizes, made by the residents and organizations of Waupaca.
Waupaca, we need you to make it happen!
When the obelisks finally come together in the Monumental Obelisk Forest during ARTicipation Week, Aug. 14-20, they will celebrate everything that makes Waupaca, Waupaca!

Use one of our free kits to get started.
Pick Up Your Kit!
Grab one of our free 18-inch obelisk kits from the Waupaca Area Public Library's front desk. Limit 3 kits per family.
Then Build Your Obelisk!
Follow the instructions in the kit to build the basic structure, and then add your own creativity and materials to decorate your obelisk.

The only limit is your imagination!
We’re assembling 150 free kits for the community, but you’re also welcome to make an obelisk on your own.

Large Kits for Businesses, Organizations & Groups
Get your organization, community group, or business in on the fun!
If you have a business and organization interested in making a larger, 3-foot obelisk to represent you in the Monumental Obelisk Forest, we have Large Obelisk Kits to get you started.
Creating a 3-foot-tall obelisk from our Large Obelisk Kit is a fun team-building exercise, and a great way to promote your organization during ARTicipation Week in August.
Contact us for your Large Obelisk Kit, and a WCAB member will deliver one to you.
Or your group can feel free to make your own out of whatever materials you choose. We have a height restriction of 4 feet.
