“Murals At Our Feet”

Waupaca’s 2019 Commuity Art Project

In the summer of 2019, Waupaca came together as a community to beautify Downtown with bright and inspiring crosswalks. Seven local artists, — selected from competitive submissions — led the way with their unique designs, and joyous approach to the hard work of painting in the sun. Designed by local artists. Painted by Waupaca people!

Don’t forget to look down, while you’re enjoying the shops and restaurants Downtown.

Building Art

Woodpile Foundation Building — 221 N. Main

Waupaca’s 2019 building mural, designed by Chad Brady of C. E. Brady Art, embodies the theme of love, kindness, inclusion, and community belonging, requested by the building’s owner, Christine Faulks. Funded by the ToTo Foundation and The Woodpile Foundation, the mural project — which WCAB was honored to help to facilitate — took two weeks to complete, and included one painting day done exclusive by Waupaca young people.
